Education Offerings
Online: Remote Learning Courses
Hosted on Inspire360.com, our Online Courses are self-paced and pre-recorded, allowing instructors to sign-up for and complete a course at their own pace.They are crafted in modules so that content can be watched in one sitting or incrementally, and each module is followed by a short quiz. Once the course has been completed and final exam passed, a certificate of completion including continuing education credits is attached. Once certified there are no additional requirements to maintain certification.
LIVE: Virtual Learning
Virtual Learning opportunities are events managed by Core or as part of fitness conventions with whom we partner, such as SCW, DCAC, PNW, IDEA or canfitpro. These virtual events do not require access to fitness equipment and our coaching principles, while written specifically for cycling, apply to all formats of coaching! Our virtual ride or workout demos offer attendees an amazing opportunity to hyper-focus on the coaching, cuing, and execution of the experience created by our Master Instructors.
LIVE: IN-PERSON
Live, In-Person opportunities are events managed by Core and can be part of a fitness convention with whom we partner, such as SCW, DCAC, PNW, IDEA or canfitpro. We also offer facilities and clubs the opportunity to host an on-site training day. Providing a personal training day for their instructor teams while providing an opportunity to recruit new team members. Our Live In-Person Certifications cover multiple fitness modalities and offer an interactive, in-person memorable and empowering experience.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a prerequisite for the training?
There are no prerequisites required to attend a course. We do however recommend instructors to also obtain a Group Exercise or Personal Trainer certification as well to provide a well-rounded skillset to assist you members and clients.
What are CEC and CEUs?
CEU (continuing education unit) or CEC (continuing education credit) is a measure used in continuing education programs to assist the professional to maintain his or her license in their profession. Not all facilities require CECs or CEUs and they are not required to maintain your Schwinn Certificate. Core Health & Fitness purchases and provides them as a service for those individuals who need them for ACE, AFFA and NASM.
What is the difference between Certification Course and Workshop?
Certifications are courses that have a higher-level time commitment (1 – 2 days depending on your region), include an exam or quiz and attendees receive a certificate of completion.
Workshops are a much smaller commitment of time, generally 90-minutes to 2-hours and takes a deeper dive into a specific topic or subject matter. These consist roughly of 60 minutes of lecture and 30 – 60 minutes of practical depending on content.
Do certifications expire?
Our certifications (live or online) do not expire, however we do suggest that you either attend a Schwinn® workshop or a certification day every 3- 4 years to stay current with what is trending with indoor cycling as well as what is happening in the industry. Please note – the CECs and CEUs that are awarded with a Schwinn certification through ACE, AFFA and NASM do expire.
After completing the online modules, is there a time limit for taking the final exam?
There is no time limit for taking the final exam.
Can the online course quizzes or exams be retaken?
Yes, all quizzes and the final exam can be retaken, up to three times.
Is there a time limit to complete online courses?
No, there is no time limit to complete the course, however you want to complete it while the information is fresh. The course takes approximately 7 hours to complete.
How do I receive my certificate for online courses?
After completing the course, you will receive a “Congratulation” email notifying you that you have passed the course. Once this has been received, log back into you profile page, chose the My Courses tab in the header and under the icon for the training will be a PDF of your certificate. We suggest you download a copy for your files once completed.
How long is the training ride provided with the Schwinn Online training?
One 30-minute ride offers you the opportunity to ride along at the end of the course. By observing the course as part of a remote learning experience you are also able to see the impact that the master trainer’s cueing and coaching has on the riders.
Do you offer Military discounts on education pricing?
Yes, we honor our military and their family members with a $25 discount code available upon request – Military, Peace Corp, AmeriCorps. Facility name
Name that you took the training under (i.e. maiden name is applicable)
Instructor’s name (if possible)
Please note: Sign in sheets from training events for verification are physically reviewed for confirmation of attendance. Once reviewed we will provide verification and provide a replacement certificate.
