Core Health & Fitness is coming off a tremendous virtual Education Tradeshow and series, “Reinventing Yourself & Your Organization”, with our education channel customers and business partners. Attendance ranged up to 172 participants per session with Universities attending from the domestic United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, Portugal, and beyond.

Mike Schneider, Director of Campus Recreation for CENTERS, LLC. at Moraine Valley Community College (MVCC), and one of our panelists, relayed, “I thought it was eye opening to see how many people were craving information around a new way of thinking and operating.” In a post session survey, we received similar feedback. Simply, were these sessions useful?

This was exactly the goal. Provide meaningful touchpoints for customers and an opportunity for us all to learn. Greg Ross, Assistant Vice President of Operations for CENTERS, LLC., and another panelist, expanded by saying, “I thought the topic was very timely and relevant for the fitness industry. Re-opening safely and efficiently is a very heavy lift and there are a lot of moving parts. The questions and comments from the audience were insightful and thought provoking and even led me to consider some other best practices for our team.”

Sessions spanned across topical areas of asset management, virtual programming, and mental health and wellbeing with industry leaders covering the most critical information and questions. Full access to the virtual tradeshow and session recordings can be found on our micro-site, CORE Virtual Education Tradeshow & Roundtables. Additional feedback from session participants:

“I’m really impressed with the webinars, and I am excited to see more! I’ve attended some webinars that sound 100% scripted – yuck! You’ve had knowledgeable panelists who speak with clarity and authority.”

This was a great webinar! It really made me think of other operations and how they will work when we open the facility back up.”

“I have been enjoying the discussions and hearing others’ thoughts. It has been a good way to stay in the know. Thank you.”

“…reassurance that we are not alone in this pandemic. It is a lot of trial and error before we go back to normalcy.”

“This generation has a lot going on and their mental wellbeing is only going to be more impacted by COVID. I had not considered the loneliness aspect that was discussed.”

What’s Next?

So what’s next? The participation and feedback from the previous series far surpassed what we had anticipated. Another simple question to those that attended…

…and an overwhelmingly positive response. Mike Schneider with MVCC adds, “I do think people are still craving more information from other types of programming.” Based on this, and all the follow-up calls and emails, we are excited to announce our next virtual series & sessions:
