Much has changed since the last update.  The world continues to evolve as the COVID-19 coronavirus spreads across the globe, changing all our lives by the minute.  At Core Health & Fitness, we continue to profess and model that it is our role and responsibility during this time to prioritize one thing: the health and well-being of our customers, employees and partners.  Throughout this event, we will continue to make decisions with vigilance and courage driven by the best and most accurate science-based information and guided by our Purpose and Values.

We want to continue to keep you up to date on how we’re dealing with the current situation and how we plan to work into the near-term future.

The precautionary steps we referred to in the last update have served us well.  We’ve made short term and long-term adjustments that will allow Core to operate in the present and the future.  At the current, we are operating the company fully from both remote and physical locations.  Our physical facilities in California and Washington are closed due to governmental direction.  The same is true for our offices in Germany, Spain and the UK.  All systems in the business are fully functioning. Our manufacturing in China is fully operational as the virus impact has crested and Asia is moving towards recovery.  Staff adjustments are being made as per the flow of business ensuring all functions are operating well and keeping the best intentions of our employees at the forefront.

With all of these actions, we are well positioned to support our customers during this time and more importantly, we are poised to emerge from this extraordinary time as the crisis passes based on local conditions.  We are ready now and will be ready when that time comes, hopefully sooner than later.

The world is grappling with an issue of enormous scale and human impact, and our hearts go out to all who have been affected by the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19). At Core Health & Fitness, we believe it is our role and responsibility during this time to prioritize one thing: the health and well-being of our customers, employees and partners.  Through that lens, we will continue to make decisions with vigilance and courage informed by the latest science-based information and guided by our Purpose and Values.

We wanted to keep you posted on how we’re responding to the ever-evolving situation to assure you that we are trying to stay ahead of the curve, so everyone in our community can stay healthy.

Over the last few weeks we have taken a series of precautionary steps in response to this developing public health impact, including increased cleaning and sanitizing procedures for our facilities. We have also put into motion daily health & wellness checks for all employees. We’re thinking about everyone’s continued well-being and are committed to taking care of everyone on our team. As of today, all business processes in our company are operating as usual. China manufacturing is looking to be past the virus hump and is operating at 90% of capacity. We had prepared for stock positions based on 2019 tariffs and Chinese New Year so we are in a good stock position at all our DC’s. All our global DC’s are open and operating as usual. Our Global Support Center in Vancouver, WA, our Global Innovation Center in Lake Forest, CA are functioning as usual. We have made and tested plans for all our critical sales/product/business processes to function in the event that we need to close our physical offices and have personnel work from home. We also have quarantine and deep cleaning plans for the DC’s in the event of an outbreak.

With all of these precautions, we want to assure our customers, employees and partners that we are doing everything we can to mitigate impact to the business and are currently fully operational.
