Core Health & Fitness is proud to have signed an exclusive supplier agreement for the roll out of all projected clubs with Énergie Fitness Iberia over the next 7 years. This follows the announcement in October that Rod Hill, former president of TRIB3 and director general of Anytime Fitness Iberia and George Houtenbos, founder of Basic Fit Spain have signed a master franchise agreement with Énergie Fitness to develop 75 clubs in Spain and Portugal over the next 10 years.

The concept is full fit out clubs with large gyms kitted out by products from Core’s full portfolio including Star Trac® cardio equipment, StairMaster® HIIT products, Nautilus® commercial strength products, Schwinn® indoor cycling bikes and Throwdown® for functional fitness solutions. The agreement will provide the best fitness equipment for Énergie Fitness Iberia clubs, plus up to 3 studios, including; Group Cycling, ‘Energie Yard’ which is their exclusive HIIT training concept and multi purpose studios for group exercise, holistic and dance classes.
The first club is due to open Spring 2021 in Barcelona which is an ideal location for the first corporate site featuring all 3 studios. This will be a central hub for potential franchisees and will also be used by Core Health & Fitness as a flagship site for prospective customers.
